Dr. Sean, along with his sister-in-law Dr. Seely, were among the more than 17,000 athletes taking part in the 28th National Capital Race in Ottawa on Mother's Day weekend.

Both completed the 13.1 mile half-marathon in less than two hours (1:58:13). Another of Dr. Sean's sisters-in-law -- Dr. Andrea Fefferman DC of Kanata, Ontario -- completed the 10K run in 54 minutes.

In addition to runners, sports walkers, in-line skaters, and wheelchair athletes participated in the race.

The run was Dr. Sean's first half-marathon. Mahoney Family Chiropractic Clinic regularly fronts a relay team in the annual Burlington City Marathon, scheduled for Memorial Day weekend.
